The Creighton Model & NaProTECHNOLOGY™

The Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System is a modern, precise and effective system of family planning that can be used by couples either to achieve or avoid pregnancy. It is based upon knowledge and understanding of women's naturally-occurring phases of fertility and infertility. Women learning to use the system are taught to routinely observe natural bio-markers, such as the presence or absence of cervical mucus, and how to chart these observations using a standardized recording system. Couples learn to recognize patterns that indicate times of fertility and infertility that help them make informed, choices regarding the achievement or avoidance of pregnancy.

Through daily observation and charting of natural bio-markers, a woman may see the effects of stress, medications, diet and exercise on her fertility. Together with NaProTECHNOLOGY™, the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System can help diagnose and treat gynecological problems including infertility, recurrent miscarriage, PMS, endometriosis, irregular cycles, ovarian cysts and hormonal issues, to name just a few.

The Group Introductory Session is an in office visit usually with other clients/couples in attendance. The Introductory Session is a 90 minute presentation to the Creighton Model System. All Clients wishing to learn the Creighton Model need to attend and Introductory Session. If unable to attend in person a Private Introductory Session can be scheduled.

The Follow-Up appointments are critical to learning the Creighton Model. These are private appointments with the client/spouse and your practitioner. In these appointments we tailor-make the Creighton Model to you & your specific situation. Whether you are trying to achieve a pregnancy, avoid a pregnancy or monitor your fertility to help treat underlying gynecological issues, such as hormone imbalances, endometriosis or polycystic ovarian syndrome, to name a few.

Typically there are 8 Follow-Up appointments in the first year.

We conduct Pregnancy Evaluations on all pregnancy's that occur while using the Creighton Model. We do this to help date the pregnancy so we know when conception occurred. The Creighton Model due date is accurate to plus or minus 1.65 days. This is a free service.
